Americana Restaurants Acquires Pizza Hut Franchise in Oman

Americana Restaurants International has expanded its presence in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region by acquiring the Pizza Hut franchise in Oman from the Khimji Ramdas Group. This strategic acquisition includes 46 Pizza Hut restaurants, which collectively generated approximately $11 million in revenue in 2024.
With this addition, Americana Restaurants now operates around 450 Pizza Hut outlets across multiple markets. The company has been active in Oman since 1986, managing brands such as KFC and Hardee's. This latest move aligns with Americana's strategy to strengthen its footprint in existing markets and leverage its operational expertise and digital capabilities to enhance customer experiences.
The Khimji Ramdas Group's decision to sell the Pizza Hut franchise is part of its consolidation strategy, allowing the conglomerate to focus on its core businesses.
This acquisition underscores Americana Restaurants' commitment to growth and delivering exceptional dining experiences across the MENA region.
